Friday we went to I think it was East Houston to look at the cool art there. We first went to an area that I know very well. We looked at mosaics on the side of this building. Everyone seemed to like them. They all seemed to give off a vibe that felt like unity. One titled "Paz a las Americas" I liked the most just because I could tell that it was the most important in my opinion. It symbolized unity and peace in America.
The Grafitti art I thought was the coolest though. In 2012 a well known Grafitti artist nicknamed Nekst died. Other Grafitti artists decided to come together and make this "monument" for him in his memory. Most of the graffiti there is colorful and detailed. They also had something to do with Nekst. I know for a fact that everyone loved these. They just seemed cool.
